I found Jack's 8th tooth last night when we were brushing teeth. It's #4 on top, his left incisor. He's been working on it for 2 months! Almost exactly 2 months to the day, his last tooth came in and we could already see this one trying to come through, at that time. So, it's long overdue. Now, I'm pretty sure he has a molar coming in...I feel the pointy edge and see white poking at the gums. He's been gnawing on his hands and every toy he can fit in his mouth. I thought maybe we'd get past that once his front teeth came in, but it's not letting up yet. Luckily, he's been pretty happy recently.
Jack's really into reading lately. He sits and turns the pages and points at things and looks up as if to say, "What's that mommy?" We're working on words continuously and he's starting to be very vocal. He'll sit and sing to himself while he plays with his toys. I wish I knew what he was thinking, but soon, we won't be able to get him to be quiet. :)
He's also very obsessed with his tongue these days. He will stick it out, smack his lips, try to pull on his tongue. It's so funny to see him run around with his tongue sticking out. But, just another thing that makes us smile.
Hope you're having a good weekend. Until next time...
